Welcome
This is my eighth year teaching at the elementary school level and my seventh year at Empire in 4th grade. I received my master’s in elementary education from the University of Phoenix in June of 2008. Since then, I have furthered my education by going through HQSI classes, professional development classes, and receiving my TESOL endorsement in 2011. I am currently working on my GATE endorsement. Computers is another passion of mine and I am proud to be part of the first 1:1 cohort for laptops in our school.
Prior to teaching elementary school, I was a CPR/First Aid/Wellness instructor for approximately 15 years through Carson Tahoe Regional Medical Center. In my spare time over the last 20 years, I have taught classes for Western Nevada Peace Officer Academy.
